3D laser scanning

A complete 3D record of a building, site or structure, with floor plans and models.

What it is: We scan the space inside and out and join the scans into one accurate 3D model. Field work is done by Real Reveal and our partner HISS.
You receive: 3D scan files (E57, LAS) · floor plans, sections and elevations (DWG, PDF) · a 3D model in the format you need
Accuracy: Every deliverable states its accuracy. When a specific accuracy is required, we check it against separate reference points, following the ASPRS mapping accuracy standard.
Price: Fixed price per site.

Dimensional inspection

Parts measured against their drawings, feature by feature.

What it is: First-article, incoming and in-process inspection of machined and fabricated parts.
You receive: A report that checks every feature against the drawing's tolerances (ASME Y14.5, the U.S. drawing standard)
Accuracy: Every result shows how precise the measurement is and which instrument was used.
Price: Fixed price per part or lot.

Measured floor plans

Accurate floor plans and square footage, measured from a scan.

What it is: Floor plans and area takeoffs drawn from a laser scan, room by room.
You receive: Floor plans (DWG, PDF) · an area table by room and floor, with the measuring method named
Accuracy: Dimensions come straight from the scan; the drawing states its tolerance.

Condition monitoring

Repeat scans that show what has moved, settled or worn since the last visit.

What it is: We scan the same structure on a schedule, from the same fixed reference points, and compare each visit with the last.
You receive: Change maps · a table of each item we monitor against its allowed limit · the trend, and when each item is likely to reach its limit
Accuracy: Every value comes with its margin of error and a plain verdict: within limit, over limit, or re-measure.
Price: Fixed price per visit.

Drone mapping and thermal imaging

Aerial maps, 3D models and thermal images, flown by our partner HISS.

What it is: Aerial capture by FAA-licensed drone pilots from our teaming partner HISS.
You receive: Aerial map images (GeoTIFF) · 3D point clouds (LAS) · 3D models (OBJ, 3D Tiles) · thermal images
Accuracy: Accuracy stated with each product. Every quote names the aircraft and confirms it meets federal drone-sourcing rules (American Security Drone Act).

Measurement and GD&T training

Training in reading drawing tolerances (GD&T) and measuring parts, for inspectors, machinists and engineers.

You receive: Course materials, attendance records and test results
Accuracy: Course goals are agreed in the quote.

File formats: E57 and LAS are standard 3D scan files; DWG is AutoCAD; GeoTIFF is a map image that GIS software can read; OBJ and 3D Tiles are 3D model formats. NAICS codes are the federal industry codes for each service.
